Chee Lian Hock, 46, a self-taught calligrapher has been honing his skills for the over 20 years.
He practises the art of calligraphy with devotion, spending a minimum of two hours daily on perfecting his skills.
Chee said, “To become a skilled calligrapher, one needs to cultivate patience, discipline and passion for the art.
Calligraphy is also a form of exercise as it calls for one to exert and control one’s energy and inner strength when creating the variation and width with the strokes of one’s brush.”
